3-NEVER, EVER, TRY TO GET A FREE DRINK BY ROCKING THE MACHINE. Do not ignore this piece of advice! Attempting to obtain a free drink by rocking the machine back and forth can result in serious personal injury or death! An article in the Journal of the American Medical Association (Nov. 11, 1988, p. 2697) documents 15 cases in which men trying to get a can out of the machine were crushed. 3 died, the other 12 required hospitalization for injuries such as fractures of the skull, toe, ankle, tibia, femur, and pelvis; intercerebral bleeding; knee contusion; and one punctured bladder. The article states that because the sodas are located in the upper half of the machine (so that they can fall into the dispensing slot), the center of gravity of the machine is abnormally high and the machine will fall after it has been tipped only 20 degrees, a deceptively small angle. Well said, I also had to declare Bankruptcy, the Number ONE reason people have to declare bankruptcy is because of Medical bills. I would also agree that people don’t do dangerous work because the cowards will not compensate one in a just way, they will stave you out to the bitter end, even if I get millions of dollars whats the point, my life will have past me by. Some how we need to put pressure on congress members and get new laws implemented. I am ready to revolt.

Guess what? Stealing from the poor or the working class does not deserve a medal. Invading and killing and stealing does not deserve a medal, but among the people who do this stuff, medals are a requirement. It is similar to putting fair dust on a load of crap and calling it desert.

  15. hypnofan35 says:

As far as i can tell the entire country has “Enron Syndrome” or “hierarchal embellishment disease”. All the damned status people want a parade, a medal, and a banquet, and charge everyone who is not quite so “high and mighty”. This is why there are revolutions! This is the way thing proceed. It has never been any different. Status or hierarchal people feel as they are privileged and can destroy less well connected people who have not “earned” by stealing and abusing.

  16. hypnofan35 says:

My advice to any workers out there is keep a voice recorder turned on whenever management comes around. The power differential is very often criminal in nature, or the people in charge will be committing crimes against you as a worker and ought to be fined or jailed. Status tends to defend status and this is how hierarchy tends to operate. This is why Mexicans are being imported to do the work these days. It’s because they can be treated badly and have no rights.

  17. hypnofan35 says:

i worked in the trucking biz. It is “heavy duty” in more ways than one. The managers tend not to know or ignore the fact that the operators need rest, and the equipment needs to be in good repair. I have had bosses that have committed hienous atrocities in the name of profit (and should be put to death). Then they think they can fix it by placing the blame on someone else. Hierarchy malfunction can be disasterous if it spreads to essential personel and equipment.

  18. hypnofan35 says:

Skilling’s idea of betting on the weather was a stroke of genius for people like the Bush Admin. They pray for hurricanes in the Gulf so that they can pretend there is a need to double the price/barrel for oil. All this after stealing Iraq and its oil. The only problem for the wheeler dealers is that they might get caught conspiring. This is no problem for the president, because if you make the law you are not accountable to the law. This is simply hierarchal dynamics 101.

  19. hypnofan35 says:

Status defends and supports status. This is why there is a need for labor unions. If you get hurt and you are not in a union, you can forget about anyone standing up or helping you. i think the term “dead meat” might describe your right to Workman’s Comp if you are not in a union. Plan on bankruptsy fools. This is why we have wars and people slaughtering one another. It is a GD war out there. People believe things will get better if only they can screw the worker and by a big car.
